The DOT-Lok MP Forklift Shift Inhibitor is a programmable speed sensitive shifting system which prevents the Forklift Operator from performing forklift functions such as enabling a drive gear, when traveling in excess of selected shift speeds and / or engine RPM levels.
The transmission engages a gear, only when the throttle is low enough and the delay time has elapsed. The delay allows the engine to rev down before shifting occurs.
