Racking Management Training
The interaction between forklifts, pallet trucks, pallet loads and people with Racking requires qualified attention and assessment. Our training program on how this relationship should be management and maintained is designed for Managers, Supervisors, Forklift Operators, Order Pickers, Health & Safety Representatives and Maintenance personnel.
All course participants are educated on the relevant information covered in AS4084-1993 and applicable guidance notes covering:
- Managing beam level load limits
- Impact of relocating a beam level on load capacity
- Operational Clearances
- How to protect you racking where areas are vulnerable
- Conducting your own level 1 rack inspections
- Identifying damages or over loading risks
- Taking correction action
- How can forklift technology assist conformance
- Repair Standards
This one day course will equip your personnel with a level of knowledge and skills to implement a racking management system which will control the risk of incident and possible injury and minimise repairs and maintenance costs to racking and equipment.
All participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance and our training literature Safe Racking Management Systems.
